Thank you Jasmine and Berlin Apartments

Last year my wife and I started to plan my birthday in January 2008. We wanted to do something new and also get away from everyday life in Oslo for a short wile. Berlin was our first choice for a destination as we both have totally fallen in love with this wonderful city. We also wanted to share our Berlin experience with our family – so we invited them all to join us. We have used Berlin Apartments before when we got married in Berlin and knew their superb service. Our first choice of accommodation was the Piano apartment in Kuno Fisher Strasse. We wanted to stay more then one week, while our family was to visit us in the weekend. We asked Jasmine if it was possible to rent an apartment for just one weekend and she gave us a positive answer. In that way we ended up with a total of six apartments for one weekend along with the one apartment we had – we almost took over the entire house in that period.

On Friday the hole family arrived (16 persons) and was given their keys and a presentation of their apartments. Later that evening we all joined for a big birthday party in our apartment. After a hectic day of shopping food and drinks we made a lovely dinner for our guests. With a fully equipped kitchen and help from all the family members cooking was no problem – It was a joy! The hole gang had a great time in Berlin, for some it was their first experience with the city, and we hope they will visit Berlin again.

We would like to thank Jasmine and Berlin Apartments for all help and superb service during the preparation and through the visit of our family gathering in Berlin! Linn and I will sure come back to visit you again! Thanks!!!

We have just retuned from a wonderful week over the Christmas period at “Grand Piano” Apartment at Kuno Fischer Strasse. This apartment was excellent in every way.

It was so bright and airy with its tall ceilings. The comfort and cleanliness were evident as soon as we walked through the door. Its location is also excellent with a bus stop at the top of the street or a short walk to the S-Bahn although we chose to walk a lot of the time. We just loved the elevator in the building . Thumbs up all round for this apartment.

We have just returned from an exciting month in Berlin, our visit enhanced by being able to stay in this lovely apartment. From every point of view, spaciousness, amenities, cleanliness and proximity to shops and transport, this is one of the best places we have rented in years and years of experience in Paris, Rome and Berlin.

It is just as Jasmin described it and more so. The quietness is particularly striking, as Kantstrasse is quite busy during the day. There is more than ample room for the usual collection of books and memorabilia to accumulate without presenting an obtrusive clutter. And the new washing machine works like a champ. The hardwood floors are a pleasure and enhance the sense of overall neatness.

And of course Jasmin’s “accueil” is splendid. Highly recommended.

David and Marian, longtime customers from the USA, have read my “Flower Power” post and sent me this photo. They have just spent three weeks in Berlin, staying in our apartment in the Kantstrasse 32.
